Meet the Team

This is our Dive Action team. Always friendly and ready to assist you with any queries you may have. Each a specialist in their own field, they also have vast experience in the diving industry and under the water as well.

Sarah T Carter - Owner

Sarah is well known and respected in the local dive industry, with many years of diving and of instructing students under her belt. Sarah’s particular interest is the marine environment, as well as technical and wreck diving, both locally and abroad.

Barry Bey-Leveld - Owner

Barry is the other half of the original Dive Action team. Barry has also been in the local dive industry for many years and has trained divers in both the sport and technical field of diving.

Maryka Pace

Maryka joined the Dive Action Team in 2014 and works in the Dive Action office assisting Sarah with the hefty paperwork load and accounts. Although she has never dived before she loves the water and the beach and is really considering going for a deeper swim!

Brandon Daniel Langeveld

Brandon grew up in Velddrift and has a huge passion of the sea. He is qualified to service a wide range of scuba diving equipment from rebreathers to dive computers and as such runs the Dive Action service centre ensuring that all equipment is serviced to OEM standards.

Brandon Langeveld

Steven Collins

Steve started diving in 2005 in Mozambique and did his Padi Instructor course on Koh Toa in Thailand, subsequently spending several years working as instructor in both countries. He has twice been awarded the PADI Elite Instructor Award (2014 & 2015) and has over 2500 dives behind him. Steve is the Dive Instructor at Dive Action and has certified more than 350 divers from DSD to Dive Master.

Steven Collins

Dean Huddlestone

Dean grew up in Hermanus and is a scuba diver with over 20 years experience. He has served on various diving committees & was a volunteer diver at the Two Oceans Aquarium for 10 years. His love for the sea and passion for cyberspace lead him to Dive Action where he is the Web, Social Media & Marketing Co-ordinator.

Jacques van Wyk

Jacques was introduced to diving while studying and immediately fell in love with the sport. He decided to pursue diving professionally. Scuba diving is a great passion of his and seeing the look on new divers' faces brings him great joy. Underwater photography and videography along with wreck diving are aspects of diving which greatly interest him.

Mikhail Tutt

Mikhail is our compressor operator and takes care of all your cylinder relates requirements from all requuired testing to air and nitrox fills. Mikhail grew up in Cape Town, started diving at 17 and qualified as an open water scuba instructor in 2013. He has been in the diving industry ever since and enjoys learning all the different aspects surrounding scuba diving, his passion.
